2025 FORE THE PAWS Charity Golf Tournament

Registration is open for the 2025 FORE THE PAWS Charity Golf Tournament, and the Fayette Humane Society (FHS) anticipates another sold-out outing on May 2 at the Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City.

More than 200 players from around the state are expected to take part in the four-person scramble. The cost is $150 per player and includes a cart and green fee, lunch, a goody bag, commemorative photos, and an awards presentation with deejay entertainment and a tapas buffet. There will also be special appearances by adoptable pets to cheer on the players.

“Last April we raised almost $30,000 for the care and comfort of 1600 needy animals within our community,” said Kimberly Castaneda, who co-chairs the tournament with Penny Molis. “Our goal in 2025 is $40,000. By moving the tournament to Flat Creek Country Club, we can accommodate 50% more golfers, but we also need more volunteers and sponsors.”

“Actually we’re off to a great start with the Christian Swann Group as our presenting sponsor,” Castaneda continued, “and we’re asking other potential donors to participate in any capacity they choose.” Options include several tax-deductible sponsorship levels that offer valuable business exposure, as well as raffle prizes and items for the golfers’ goodie bags. 

Incorporated in 1973, FHS is the oldest nonprofit humane society in Fayette County, and it is staffed entirely by volunteers. As always, 100% of proceeds from the tournament will be used to fund the FHS spay and neuter program and to pay for the vaccinations and medical treatments of the dogs and cats in its foster care.
