The email has been sent out to the registered participants for the Fall FIAT on the Dragon. We are within a couple of cars of closing up the registration so if you plan to come this year, please be sure to get this scanned and I will forward the hotel reservation and event details to you directly.This year, we offer a thrilling driving adventure limited to just 20 cars! You’ll receive a personalized name badge when you arrive on Thursday, November 6, at the hotel.
Please note: You’ll need to book your own hotel reservations promptly, as rooms are limited and details are shared only with confirmed participants. Please let the person taking the reservation know you are with the FIAT group, and you will get our rate and be part of our group block.
Event Itinerary
Get ready for three days of exhilarating drives through some of the most scenic and twisty roads in the region!
Thursday, November 6
We'll meet in Marion, VA, and check into the historic General Francis Marion Hotel. Get checked in and if you can, join us for a group dinner, sharing stories and gearing up for the adventures ahead.
Friday, November 7
8:45 am
We will meet in the hotel lobby for our mandatory driver's safety meeting. At this time, you may pick up your name badge and check out a radio.
9 am
Depart from the hotel and tackle the legendary Back of the Dragon in Virginia—32 miles of pure adrenaline with 438 turns! We’ll run it one way, turn around, and do it again before heading to Damascus, VA, for a group lunch. From there, we’ll cruise through the Backbone Rock Tunnel, conquer The Snake, and arrive in Bristol, TN, for the evening. We will get checked into our hotel and then go to cap off the day with a walkabout and group dinner in vibrant downtown Bristol. Don’t forget to turn in your borrowed radios for charging.
Saturday, November 8
8:45 am
We will meet in the hotel lobby for our mandatory driver's safety meeting. At this time, you may pick up your name badge and check out a freshly charged radio.
9 am
Hit the road early from Bristol and dive back into The Snake, exploring some of the most breathtaking routes imaginable. We will stop for lunch in Little Switzerland, and then, after, we’ll tackle the Diamondback and The Rattler along with some new roads. Our destination for the evening will be Maggie Valley, NC, where we will enjoy one final group dinner to celebrate our journey. Get checked into the hotel as soon as you arrive.
This is going to be an epic trip. We can’t wait to hit the road with you!
