The theme this year: Bridging Cultures, Strengthening Communities

The theme of the 2025 national emRIC (Emergency Medicine with Rural and Indigenous Communities) gathering is Bridging Cultures, Strengthening Communities. During this year's event we hope to highlight the importance of cultural humility and understanding in medical practice within rural and Indigenous communities, showcase the event as a bridge between diverse cultures and medical expertise, and focus on the collaboration and collective efforts of various healthcare professionals and community leaders.
