2025 Dennis J. Barry STRIVE Scholarship Golf Outing

The Dennis J. Barry STRIVE Scholarship Golf Outing presented by Racine Founder's Rotary

Every year, the Racine Founder's Rotary Club offers multiple scholarships to students graduating from Racine High Schools. This golf outing is the largest fundraising event to raise the money for these scholarships.

The scholarship committee awards these scholarships to students who excel the most in the following categories:

- Active involvement in school and community activities

- Quality and the message in their essay "Service Above Self"

- Significant academic improvement through their 4 years in high school

-Have overcome adversity in their life

This scholarship is designed to be unique among scholarships. The Dennis Barry Strive Scholarship is intended for students who began their high school career with grades that did not reflect their potential but by their senior year have shown significant improvement in their academic ability. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate their active involvement in school and community activities.

Tee off will begin at noon on Friday, September 12th at Ives Grove.

Golf will be $100 per golfer. This includes a lunch at the turn.

There will be hole games, raffles, and other prizes to raise funds for this cause.
