Well, Hackers, it's that time of year again. Fall is in the air (sort of), leaves are starting to drop, and the CT Hackers Club Championship is right around the corner. This year's Club Championship will take place at the Keney Park Golf Course, in our state capitol of Hartford! If you haven't been out to Keney in a while, the course has undergone a tremendous transformation several years back and it is a venue fitting of this year's major. Tee times will begin at 9:06a on Tuesday, October 14. This will be a net handicap event with play from the white tees. Seniors may elect to play green tees and our longer hitters may choose blue or gold if they wish. Either way, all tee assignments must be settled with me before hitting your first ball (ideally a day or two prior to the event so I can have them squared away and handicaps adjusted). Cost will be $71 ($59 for seniors) for 18 holes with cart - payable to the course.
As this is a major championship, all FedUp Cup points will be doubled!! So, it should be an interesting race to the finish to see who makes their way up the leaderboard and comes away with this year's coveted FedUp Cup! And since it's a major and our last event of 2025, let's double the prize fund to $10 CASH per player - payable to me prior to tee off - so we can give away more prizes for closest to the pins and top net scores! This has the makings for a great day for everyone!! Hope to see many of you there for the crowning of our newest Club Champion and FedUp Cup winner!!
