Dr. Kiona Coleman is the founder of Colemed Health & Wellness.

Born in Irving, Texas, Dr. Coleman grew up witnessing her parents have their health concerns ignored or deemed inconsequential. This made her want to become a medical professional that actively listened and empowered her patients to take their health into their hands. In doing this, she personally saw the detrimental effects of working long hours with little sleep and socialization with those closest to her. This drove her to target continuing education studies on how to prevent and treat burnout in professional and personal environments. She now uses her Family Medicine training along with key pillars in Lifestyle Medicine to educate & promote better health in her patients’ daily lives. In particular, she loves to work with marginalized groups including women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ because they are so often unheard and overlooked.
