Dear Family,The Kennedy Mortuary & Crematory Staff invites you to our annual Christmas Memorial Service. This is a special service provided to all the families we have served throughout the year. The holidays can be a particularly difficult time after the loss of a loved one and we hope that by offering a service for remembering your loved one during this season, will help you continue to heal from your loss and will help you find peace.
This year, our Christmas Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, 499 Chestnut Ridge Road, Laurens, SC 29360. This will be a special evening and we ask that you please invite all of your family members. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.
Families who register to attend the service will be presented with one free glass ornament per family, personalized with the name and life dates of their loved one. This ornament can be hung on a Christmas tree or otherwise displayed in commemoration of your loved one for years to come. Each family must RSVP by calling our office (864) 984-4535 or on our website, no later than Wednesday, November 19th to have their ornament available at the memorial service.
If your family would like to order additional ornaments, there is an order form enclosed with this mailing. You may also go online to our website to order more ornaments. If you will like your ornaments before Christmas, you must return the form along with payment to the Mortuary no later than Wednesday, November 19th.
Orders can also be placed along with payment at the service and only until December 19th, but these will not be available for pick up until after Christmas.
