Download songs and complete the audition form starting Feb. 1 at www.leavenworthsummertheater.org/auditions 🎶🌲✨- These auditions are for the von Trapp children for The Sound of Music.
- Those auditioning for Liesl von Trapp should book an adult audition appointment for the following weekend (appointments slots posted at the link above Feb. 1). No need to attend child auditions unless you want to be considered for other child von Trapp roles.
- No child video auditions allowed. In-person only.
- Bring a full water bottle, a sweatshirt, a non-messy sack lunch, and non-messy snacks. Please have your child wear clothes they can dance in, and tennis shoes.
AUDITION SCHEDULE
- 10am - Check-in with parent or guardian. Parent waiting room available. (no small children please)
- 10:30am - Auditions begin as a group. We want auditions to be FUN! No late admission, so please come early.
- 11:30am - A parent should return for your child's lunch break and our first callback announcement.
- 11:45am - First callbacks announced. If your child's name is on the list, they will stay. If not, your child is excused.
- 12-2:30pm - final auditions. We might text you when your child is done. Parent waiting room available. (no small children please)
-- Roles announced via email in March. You will receive an email either way. --
* Actors 14 and over may audition in person for Carousel’s Louise (ballet emphasis). No audition appointment needed. Attend in-person, 3:30pm dance audition on Feb. 22 in Leavenworth, and Feb. 23 callback by invitation.
* Actors 16 and over may audition in person for The Little Mermaid’s ensemble. Adult audition appointment, and in-person dance call, required.
