Who are we?
Local teachers that have brought a unique, award-winning enrichment program to our local communities for summer fun + STEM-enrichment. After being developed the last 20+ years by early childhood experts and used in enrichment programs in top schools & organizations throughout the nation, it is finally available in central Iowa!
What is this program?
Challenge Island is a leading provider of STEM-based educational enrichment programs designed to engage students in hands-on learning. Our programs integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics with creativity and teamwork.
Each child will get to use their unique talents and skills to problem solve with their team & leave with a new sense of confidence and leadership ability!
What does each day look like?
Campers embark on Island themed journeys where they work in collaborative teams to tackle various exciting challenges using only the materials in their treasure chest and their boundless imaginations.
The day consists of three themed STEM projects. They work as engineers to understand, plan, build, test, and share. They incorporate active-play time to explore our creations and outdoor time during lunch and snack times. The end of the day is for relaxed play and parent viewing to showcase our projects.
