2025 Celebration of Champions

Welcome to the 2025 Celebration of Champions! Join us for a night of fun, laughter, and celebration as we honor our Community Champion: Bonny Blair. Bonny has been a resident of Auburn since she moved here with her husband, Tom Blair, in the mid-seventies.
During these intervening years, there are few events, organizations, or clubs that Bonny has not touched in some way, as either a fundraiser extraordinaire, an attendee, a committee member, or a board member.

Her impressive commitment to our youth began when she took a position as a teacher, a position she was honored to hold for thirty five years. Thousands of children passed through her classroom. Her work didn’t end in the classroom, however. In the sixteen years since she retired from teaching, she has mentored, planned, raised money, organized,
created, and used her talents to make our corner of New York a better place to live, to learn, to play, and to grow.

Champions for Life couldn’t be more excited or honored to celebrate Bonny Blair as our 2025 Celebration of Champions Honoree.

This year's event (our eighth!) will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Emerson Park Pavilion. Get ready to enjoy delicious food, great music, and amazing company. Don't miss out on this special evening to recognize and celebrate our Bonny Blair! See you there!
