The Making Spirits Bright Holiday Parade will be making its way through downtown Carlisle on Thursday, December 4! Thank you to the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Carlisle, PA for sponsoring the event!
We are HO-HO-HOping you'll join us! Register ONLINE, in person at the Stuart Community Center (415 Franklin St), or over the phone by December 1st!
*Pre-Registration is required. Enter yourself, your organization, company, team or family for FREE!
Santa will be in the parade, please do NOT include a Santa in your entry.
Street Closure and Parking: @ 6:00 p.m.:
-North Street will be closed to all through traffic between East and Spring Garden Streets.
-Parking available at Weis Markets, McCarren's Supply, and Louther St. (North and South) Municipal Lots after 4:30 p.m.
-Parking is NOT available at Carlisle Alliance Church or Biddle Mission Park. These lots will be used for staging parade participants.
-Drop off after 6:00 p.m. should take place at Weis, McCarren's Supply, or on East Street.
-Participants should report to their designated staging area (see parade map) by 6:00 p.m.
Parade Route: @ 7:00 p.m.:
-West on E. North Street to Hanover Street; south on Hanover Street to Willow Street; east on Willow Street where parade disbands.

In order to participate in the parade:
-Your entry MUST be decorated and in costume to participate in the parade. Drivers are the only exception.
-NO CANDY THROWING - WALKERS MUST HANDOUT.
-NO horn blowing, paper handouts, trick cars, violence, firearms, explosives, or flashing/swirling lights.
-Limited to 1 vehicle per entry (other than the car clubs/motorized vehicle group).
-No trailers over 30ft.
Fair weather only, no make-up date! In the event of rain, follow us or the Downtown Carlisle Association on Facebook.
