Everyone is welcome to experience, September 9, 2025, celebrating the day California officially became our 31st State , during the 31st Congress of the United States of America.

40+ million California residents, especially children, youth and new arrivals to our Golden State should discover California Admission Day.
Join us as we prepare and showcase year round, Regional, Statewide and National celebrations of our 175th Anniversary of California Statehood.
Together, we can explore how US Senate Bill 169 established the Great State of California as 1/5th of the 1850 Compromise to upset the delicate balance of 15 Slave States and 15 Free States.
Few recall 300 years of Spanish colonization sparked by early "written" California History found in the 16th-century romance novel entitled, Las Sergas de Esplandián (The Adventures of Esplandián), Baja Sur and Alta California named after an island populated by "Negro Amazon Women Warriors" led by Queen Califia.
The authentic historic journey and preservation soon comes alive again by "Restoring the Past" African Americans throughout the Historic Gold Mining District of Negro Bar, Mormon Island and Negro Hill, Alta California (1840-1865) as we continue to explore the transition from Mexican rule to Juneteenth Freedom Celebrations.
June 1846, United States Military conquest was well planned as "Manifest Destiny" and the news of California Gold Rush sparked a global westward migration.
The 1850 Fugative Slave Act fueled the California arm of the International Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.
We spotlight Honorable William Alexander Leidesdorff, Jr., US Vice Consul to the Mexican Republic, whose report of the Bear Flag Revolt and US Military acquisition report comes alive.
His 35,521 acre Mexican Land Grant, along the "Gold River" uniquely stipulates that he would not disturb the migrations of Nisenan/Maidu nations upon land newly entitled to the man we affectionately call, our "African Founding Father of California.
His unsurpassed experience highkights "hidden figures" throughout our 2025 California Admission Day story Only beginning to unfold.
11:30, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, is our California Admission Day Party.
Together, let us begin to explore the challenging historic journey to establish our Great State of California and preserve our golden legacy for the next 175 years.
