Welcome to the 2025 Big Texas Recovery Rally in Galveston County! The Big Texas Recovery Rally in Galveston County will be on Saturday, September 20th, at the Nessler Center of Texas City.

Join us for a day of fun, support, and community as we celebrate Recovery Month by way of Empowerment through Connection.

DAY ONE: Kick Off Friday Live Music, Fellowship & Alumni Speakers

1 - 4 pm, followed by table set up 4 pm - 6 pm

Tables on Saturday Only. Set up on Friday or in the am.

Mark your calendars—Galveston County is the place to be for the Big Texas Recovery Rally on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with an exciting kickoff on Friday, September 19!

This powerful two-day event is a celebration of community, connection, and the many pathways to recovery. Enjoy children’s entertainment, an inspiring surprise keynote speaker, voices from multiple recovery journeys, and a wide range of resources and vendors. Whether you’re in recovery yourself or supporting someone who is, this rally is for everyone who believes in healing, hope, and the strength of unity.

As part of this year’s celebration, we are once again honoring eight outstanding organizations with awards in each of the Eight Dimensions of Wellness as defined by SAMHSA:

• Emotional
• Environmental
• Financial
• Intellectual
• Occupational
• Physical
• Social
• Spiritual

These awards highlight the essential, holistic nature of recovery and recognize the vital contributions of organizations that help individuals thrive in all areas of life.

We invite organizations and sponsors to participate in this powerful weekend by supporting the event and engaging with the community. If your organization promotes wellness in any of these eight dimensions, this is an opportunity to be recognized as a SAMHSA 8 organization and celebrated for the work you do to strengthen lives and communities. Sponsorship not only supports recovery, it places your organization at the heart of a growing movement of change, compassion, and resilience.

This event would not be possible without the generous support of our local partners, including prevention specialists, faith communities, healthcare providers, treatment centers, sober living organizations, and committed community stakeholders.

Volunteers are also essential! If you’d like to serve, please sign up through pre-registration. Volunteers are expected to attend scheduled meetings and remain accountable for their roles. Your time and effort make a lasting impact—thank you for stepping up.

T-shirt reminder: The first 200 people who pre-register and arrive will receive a free T-shirt—one per person, per order. Make sure each person in your group registers individually so we can plan properly for food, shirts, and vendor needs.
