2025 Athens Alabama Haunt Walks

We're so glad to have you! This tour is based off the book The Spirits of Athens by local author Shane Black. It tells the spookier side of real Athens history.

WALKING tours cost $18 + fees per person and are at 7 and 7:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays

WAGON tours cost $45+fees per person and are at 6:30pm on Tuesdays

Here are a few things to know before you go:

1. Pets, except service animals, are NOT permitted!
2. The walks will be about 90-120 minutes long and are about a mile
3. Please meet in the tourism office meeting room downstairs (100N Beaty Street) 15 minutes prior to your tour time.
4. These walks are exciting but not too spooky for little ones
5. Each walking tour can host 25 people, so buy your tickets early
6. Each WAGON tour can host 10 people.
7. Please dress for the weather. Please use ponchos or raincoats, not umbrellas
8. Please note different times for wagon vs walking tours
9. Children must be accompanied by an adult
