2025 Area 61 AFG Convention

Note: If you plan to stay at Chula Vista during the convention you are responsible for reserving your own room. Chula Vista's contact information is listed below. Rates are guaranteed until 9/20/25.

The Convention will be held October 17-19, 2025 at Chula Vista Resort & Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells. Area 61 Al-Anon Family Groups is comprised of Al-Anon and Alateen groups in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Convention is a time for fellowship, fun, and giving.

In cooperation with Alcoholics Anonymous, we have a full track of AA meetings, panels, workshops & speakers as well. Note that Al-Anon & AA meetings are open to all. Alateen meetings are closed; only Alateens and certified AMIAS may attend.

Call for reservations
Call Chula Vista at (855) 388-4782 to make reservations. Be sure to mention code “K49282 AREA 61 AFG” to get the group rate of $139 (plus tax) for up to 6 people. All rooms are semi-suites and include waterpark passes for all room registrants. Room rates are guaranteed through September 20. Cancellation fee may apply.

Registration Fee:

$30 if registering by Sep 23

$35 if registering by Oct 10

$45 if registering after Oct 10 and walk-ins

Alateens: $15 (age 19 or younger)

Pre-registration ends Friday, October 10th.

If you haven’t registered yet by October 10th, print and complete a registration form (see below) and bring it with you to the convention. Forms will also be available at the Convention registration table starting Friday, 2 pm.

WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS are welcome! Pay $45 ($15 Alateen) at the Registration table (cash, check, or Venmo accepted) starting Friday, October 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

MEALS (tickets available only through October 10th)

Your choice of three entrees:

• Herb Encrusted Pork Loin Viennese
• Herb Encrusted Pork Loin Viennese Gluten Free
• Three Cheese Ravioli

Each entree will be paired with a starch and vegetable of the day and includes house salad with 2 choices of dressing, artisan rolls, coffee, tea or milk. Dessert choices will be:

• Chocolate Mousse
• New York Cheesecake (choice of blueberry, strawberry, or cherry)

Sunday Continental Breakfast – $19 Per Person

Includes House-made muffins, breakfast breads and croissants, freshly cut fruit and melons, hard boiled eggs, butter, fruit jams, orange and apple juice, freshly brewed regular and decaf coffees and tea.
