Time for the 4rd Annual 988 Run Out of the Darkness 5K/10K, sponsored by Perkasie Rotary in partnership with Free Will Brewing. Race proceeds benefit NAMI Bucks County. NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.Race time is 9:30 with registration opening at 8:30. The race uses the flat and fast paths in Lenape Park with the 10K runners doing the loop twice. Both races start together and you can change your distance "on the fly". Walkers are welcome in the 5K. Awards follow each race. There is a water stop on the course with 10K runners seeing it twice.
AS with all Perkasie Rotary races, you get to enjoy chip-timing with immediate results, friendly volunteers, and yummy post-race grub. All runners receive a quality short-sleeved tech shirt and all 21 and over runners get a coupon for a free beverage at Free Will Brewing.
