Welcome to the 8th annual Ft Lawdy reverse polar plunge ! ... Let’s jump in the ocean at Sunrise and ring in 2025!
Why is it a reverse polar plunge? Because air temps are close to 40 degrees and sea temps hover around a balmy 75 degrees this time of year.
This date is a placeholder. The actual morning of this event is timed with (hopefully) an impending cold front that pushes a.m. temps into the high 30’s or low 40s. The date will be set a couple days before when a cold snap is ensured.
Meet at Ft Lauderdale Beach Park (South Park) by the bathrooms, 6:30 am with your robes, coffee or fave beverages. Jump in the ocean at sunrise for a quick polar plunge.
