2024 Turkey Trot 5K/10K/Kids K!Join us as we host this holiday tradition, right here in Beaumont, Texas at The Downtown Event Centre on Thanksgiving Morning!

CHARITY BENEFIT
Each year, SRS chooses a local Non Profit charity to feature and give back to.
The chosen charity benefit for 2024 is 501c3 Non Profit SHORKEY CENTER! https://shorkey.org/about-us
This event is hosted by, and supports, our Organization - Sea Rim Striders Run Club - an all-volunteer incorporated Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization, that has been in existence since the 1970's, with the goal of promoting running and walking at all levels.
We support, encourage and promote running and walking as a form of health and fitness, as well as giving back to our community.
Everything we do throughout the year is free and open to the public, except the Turkey Trot, as it is our Signature fundraiser of the year.

SHIRTS:
Short sleeved, Azure blue, polycotton tech
SHIRT SIZING:
usually fits true to size. We will find out once we get some prototypes in! If you need to change your size later, just email and we'll fix it for you
RACE START TIMES:
7:30am - 1K
7:50am - Adaptive athletes early start
8:00am - 5K & 10K
1 1/2 hr cutoff for 10K.
Please only sign up for the 10K distance if you can make the cutoff.
*not completing/finishing the 10K, will result in DNF resultK
*no downgrades to 5K to be in awards

****Free for parents to escort their child on course for the 1K if needed.
Parents DO NOT need to pay for the 1K race entry, to escort the kiddo.

5K/10K - any age may sign up for these distances if they are able to complete their run/walk in 1.5 hours.
*do not leave small (<10) children unattended on 5K/10K course
DO NOT PARK ON THE SIDE OF MLK ROAD OR ACROSS FROM THE EVENT, ACROSS MLK. This is DANGEROUS and there is plenty of parking in the parking spots indicated on our parking map.
