2024 Third Annual Sarah is Our Superhero Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser

This is a charity tournament where the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through our fundraising team. If you are interested in sponsorship of this event, please contact us directly at [email protected].

The registration fee is $60 a person for one division and $75 a person registering for two divisions. Register by August 24 and receive one (1) sized t-shirt with your registration fee. Please note that we are unable to include a t-shirt with registrations received after August 24.

Space is limited. Registration closes for the tournament on September 20 at 8:00 AM.

Instructions to register: Each player must register individually and identify their teammate as part of their registration.

Instructions to register for more than one event: If you want to play in both the Mixed Doubles Division and either the Men's or Women's Doubles Division,SELECT one of the following ticket combinations :

• (3.5 and above) Women's PLUS Mixed Doubles
• (3.4 and below) Women's PLUS Mixed Doubles
• (3.5 and above) Men's PLUS Mixed Doubles
• (3.4 and below) Men's PLUS Mixed Doubles

There are six team divisions for this tournament based on skill rating:

• Men’s Doubles (3.5 and above)
• Men’s Doubles (3.4 and below)
• Women’s Doubles (3.5 and above)
• Women’s Doubles (3.4 and below)
• Mixed Doubles (all skill levels)

Each division will consist of 14 teams who will compete in six* games of round-robin pool play. The top two teams in each division by record/tiebreaker will play in a championship. A final decision on using rally scoring during pool play will be made before the start of the tournament.

Each team division will start at a set time and play games continuously until all games are completed. Estimated start times for each team division are:

• 8:00 AM-Women’s Doubles (skill level rating of 3.5 and above /7:30 AM warm-up time)
• 10:00 AM- Women’s Doubles (skill level rating of 3.4 and below / 9:30 AM warm-up time)
• 1:00 PM – Mixed Doubles (all skill levels / 12:30 PM warm-up time)
• 3:00 PM – Men’s Doubles (skill level rating of 3.4 and below / 2:30 PM warm-up time)
• 5:00 PM- Men’s Doubles (skill level rating of 3.5 and above /4:30 PM warm-up time)

Warm-ups begin 30 minutes before the estimated start time of each team division pool play. Teams will start at their designated time and there will be only a few minutes between each game. Each team will be notified of their game schedule.

First and second place medals will be awarded after championship.

* The number of games of play is subject to change and will depend on the number of teams that register per division.

You think you can DINK? We are having a dinking contest to see who can complete the most consecutive dinks in the kitchen with their partner. For an extra $10, you can add this to your registration . A prize will be awarded to the team that has the most dinks. More details to come!

New to pickleball or want to play a game just for fun? We have added a social group division for players new to pickleball or who would like to play but not in a tournament setting. Don't forget to order an additional T-shirt or add a bundle of 50/50 raffle tickets to your registration. T-shirts are available for purchase between now and midnight on Friday, August 24 (deadline). The 50/50 drawing will be completed during the tournament so grab your tickets now.
