The famous Tallahassee Beer Mile (ahem, best fun run in Florida and FOURTH in the nation) is moving to Friday evening so you can get the best of both worlds. And we have added a category for best outfit. So bust out the tutus and fancy socks and get ready to chug bicentennial beer brewed by Fools Fire. Race day packet pick-up and day-of registration opens at 5:30pm and the Beer Mile starts at 6:30pm. The course will be a complete loop around Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, beginning near the ticket box office. Registration on or before August 2nd is $25 and registration day-of is $30. Please bring card or check for race day registration – no cash. A race t-shirt is guaranteed if registered by August 2nd.
In our Beer Mile, you will run a 1/4 mile loop four times and enjoy a 12 oz. beer at the beginning of each loop in the Beer Zone! Awards will be presented to the Top Overall Male & Female, Masters M/F, Grandmasters M/F, Rucking, Brewery Rep, Best Toss of Cookies and Best Costume finishers.
