Spend the day with friends playing chess at the spring 4-H tournament. The tournament will consist of six rounds. Kids will be matched with others close to their same age. There will be four age categories: elementary, intermediate, middle school, and high school. Trophies will be awarded to the top three in each age category. A team trophy will also be given to the best scoring team. Tournament is open to ages 5 to 18. Membership in 4-H is not required.Please bring a lunch because there will not be one provided.
There is no fee to participate in the tournament but advance registration is requested by May 22. Visit go.illinois.edu/4HSpringChess to register.
