2024 Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit

We proudly announce the 13th Annual Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit (SVLLS) on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Computer History Museum (CHM) in Mountain View, California. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the CHM pays tribute to local tech origins and provides a space that is accessible, welcoming, and inclusive of everyone in the community. CHM offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, and Tesla chargers. Attendees can view portions of the museum during breaks and after the summit.

Our theme for 2024 is “Accelerating Latinos in Education, Entrepreneurship, and Executive Leadership – It’s Time, Es Tiempo”. Latinos have demonstrated remarkable drive and resilience in education, entrepreneurship, and executive leadership. With a rich tapestry of diverse cultures, histories, and experiences, Latinos contribute immensely to the social and academic fabric of the nation. In education, Latinos have become advocates for equitable learning opportunities, driving initiatives to empower diverse communities and bridge educational gaps. In entrepreneurship, their innovative spirit has led to thriving businesses, contributing significantly to economic growth and fostering a culture of creativity. In executive leadership roles, Latinos bring unique perspectives, enriching decision-making processes and promoting inclusivity within organizations. Their collective achievements inspire and emphasize the importance of diversity in shaping a dynamic and progressive future for all.

As always, SVLLS focuses on highlighting and cultivating the Latinx leaders of today and tomorrow. The summit will feature a morning plenary, 'Executive Latino Leadership in a New Era, 'where panelists will share strategies for building sustainable leadership models. This will be followed by a luncheon discussion, 'Latinos Navigating Artificial Intelligence (AI), 'where panelists will discuss growing AI trends and how to leverage new opportunities. The summit will also celebrate the young scholars, our future leaders, from Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School.
