Join us for our ever-popular SDMBA Photo Contest hosted at Trek Bicycles in Encinitas. Register for FREE today at link provided below to enter in your best shots, enjoy good company, and check out the creative work of fellow mountain bikers.
SDMBA will provide pizza and beverages including Sierra Nevada and Athletic Brewing Co., sodas and water.
Registration is required and will be limited to 100 guests. This event will fill quickly so don't delay. You are more than welcome to attend even if you don't enter any photos!
All photos will be displayed at the event and judged by your peers. Winners will receive some cool swag and get their photos printed on the SDMBA 2025 Poster Calendar.
PHOTO CONTEST RULES:
1. Photo contest is open to everyone. Limit 6 photos entered per person.
2. There is no fee to enter but all attendees are encouraged to make a donation to the SDMBA to support trail projects and programs.
3. All photos are automatically entered for Best of Show
4. Prints may range in size from a minimum of 5 x 7 to a maximum of 8 x 12. Please do not bring the prints framed.
5. Photos must be from within the last 5 years and must be submitted by the photographer who took the image.
6. On the back of each photo please include your name, email, phone number, and the category entered.
7. You must be present to win.
8. By entering the SDMBA Photo Contest, you agree to grant SDMBA and the Photo Contest Sponsors the right to display your image in print and on the web. Entrants will retain the rights to their photographs.
9. All photos must be safe for work (no nudity!)
10. Winners will be asked to provide a high quality digital copy of their photo to SDMBA for production of the 2024 Calendar.

- Generation Grom (Shots Of The Jr. Shredders)
- Bikepacking (Shots Of Loaded Bikes & Wild Routes)
- Holy Sh!t (The gnarly shots. Stunts, Tricks & Anything Adrenaline Pumping)
- Black & White (Shots In Monochrome)
- Wild Things (Shots Of Natural Beauty & Wild Things Along The Ride)
- Best of Show (Anything Goes)
