2024 ROTC Top Cadet Dinner

The Major Samuel Woodfill Chapter, AUSA, invites you to join us as we honor the top Army ROTC cadets, selected by their Professors of Military Science, from each of the five universities in our area: Central State University, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, Wright State University and Xavier University. They are the next generation of Army leaders.

This year’s event will be held at the historic Golden Lamb Inn. Established in 1803, it is the oldest continuously operating Ohio business. If you wish to spend the night in one of the Inn’s unique guest rooms, contact De-De Bailey, Event Coordinator at (513)932-5065.

The awards dinner is that evening where the top cadets are introduced by their Professors of Military Science. The cadets represent hundreds of outstanding young men and women from their universities. All have chosen an Army career in this time of dynamic change. You will feel a sense of pride in these cadets who volunteered to be an important part of the defense of this great country.

Dinner is a choice of the Inn’s signature meals: Roast Turkey Breast or Golden Lamb Fried Chicken or Fresh Scottish Salmon or Mushroom, tofu and vegetable cobbler with all the trimmings. Orders will be taken table-side. There is a cash bar. Festivities begin with a social at 6:00 p.m. and mess call at 7:00 p.m. The event is held on the Inn’s first floor for easy access.

Directions to the Golden Lamb, 27 S. Broadway, Lebanon, Ohio 45036: From I-75 exit 29 (Ohio 63). Go east 7 miles to S. Broadway. (Inn is on NW corner). From I-71 take exit 28 (Ohio 48). Go west 3.5 miles to OH 48/123, left 1.2 miles to S. Broadway.
