It's time once again for a Pekin tradition! Join us on December 1st, 2024 for the opening ceremonies of the Pekin Winter Wonderland. Bring the family to Mineral Springs Park and enjoy a candy cane hunt, pony rides, balloon art by the Unique Twist, a parade, food trucks, a raffle, visits with Santa, a Christmas carol sing-a-long, and a fireworks show over the park lagoon!Celebration Schedule of Events

OPENING CEREMONIES
1:00pm Free Candy Cane Hunt on Ball Diamond #1 in three rounds of different aged groups: 3-6, 7-9, 10-12.
2:00pm Hand-led Pony Rides on Ball Diamond #1 in Mineral Springs Park by Blazin' A Trail Riding and Boarding, Inc.
2:00pm - 6:00pm The Unique Twist & Twisting Crew will be in the Pavilion with permier ballon art.
3:30pm Parade Starts Broadway Street starting at 10th Street and ending at the Pavilion in Mineral Springs Park After the Parade.
Visit Santa after the parade in the Pavilion till 6:00pm.
Raffle tickets and prize table open in the Pavilion till 5:30pm.
5:15pm Christmas Carol Sing-a-long on Pavilion porch facing Lagoon
5:30pm Fireworks across the Lagoon
