2024 Monterey Park Library Foundation Gala

Batter up! Champions of the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library are invited to step up to the plate and support the Monterey Park Library Foundation’s annual fundraising Gala on Friday, October 25. This year’s event will honor Chinatown Service Center and Theresa Amador for their outstanding dedication to the Library and this community.

The Gala will be held at Luminarias, 3500 W. Ramona Blvd. in Monterey Park, and will start at 6:00 pm with dinner served shortly after 7:00 pm. Returning by popular demand will be all-star master of ceremonies Mike Eng and musician Rodney Durand. There will also be a silent auction and a raffle providing multiple opportunities to win one or more of a big-league line-up of prizes.

The community is welcome to get in the game by purchasing a ticket or table to the event. Corporate and individual table sponsorships are available at levels of $5,000 (Grand Slam), $3,000 (Home Run) and $2,000 (RBI Double). Individual tickets can be purchased for $95 each. Donations are tax deductible. Net proceeds will support the services and programs of the Library and fund the purchase of new books, technology, and other materials or equipment for Library users of all ages and interests. Tables or tickets can be purchased from Monterey Park Library Foundation members, at the Library or online. One team, one mission - let’s swing for the fences and knock it out of the park!
