Get ready for even more lights this year as Meadowlark Botanical Gardens shines brighter than ever! From Friday, November 8, 2024, through Sunday, January 5, 2025, you can enjoy the festive glow of Meadowlark’s Winter Walk of Lights—a 0.6-mile trail lined with mesmerizing displays of flowers, animals, gardens, sparkling trees, and enchanting holiday and winter scenes. Open nightly, including all holidays, this event promises to captivate visitors of all ages.

Create unforgettable memories as you stroll through this illuminated wonderland. Whether you're marveling at twinkling displays or getting cozy by the fire, there’s something magical for everyone. Bundle up and sip on a cup of hot cocoa (spiked or not!) or indulge in roasting marshmallows for s’mores as the warmth of the season surrounds you.

Event Highlights:

• Dates: Friday, November 8, 2024 – Sunday, January 5, 2025

• Open Nightly, including all holidays

• Trail Length: 0.6 miles of breathtaking lights

• Location: Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Court, Vienna, Virginia

• Sips and Snacks: Hot chocolate, coffee (spiked or not), cold beverages, beer, and wine available at the glass house. Stop by the Breezy Bites Food Truck for hot pretzels and funnel cakes. End your evening with a s’mores kit from the S’mores Shack and roast marshmallows over a cozy fire.

• Add Even More Sparkle: Light-up wands, headbands, sabers, Holiday spectacles, and the popular annual Winter Walk of Lights ornament are available for sale at the Visitor Center and glass house.

Ticket Policies:

-Every person age 2 and older must have a ticket (excluding appreciation night honorees and kids buy-one-get-one-free nights).

-Tickets are nonrefundable. The event remains open during rain or snow. In the case of severe weather cancellations, ticket costs will be refunded (Eventbrite fees are nonrefundable).

-Be sure to apply promo/discount codes when selecting your entry time. Discounts cannot be applied after purchase. Tickets will not be refunded to be repurchased with a discount. The discount amount will not be refunded after tickets are purchased.

-Prior to 2:00 p.m. on the date of the ticket, a ticket may be transferred to another date or entry time online at eventbrite.com. Tickets cannot be transferred using the Eventbrite app. Tickets must be transferred at eventbrite.com. Purchases of more than one ticket cannot be transferred as an entire order. Tickets must be transferred individually and will thereafter be in separate orders with individual order numbers. Please note: It will look like you are transferring all of your tickets, but Eventbrite.com can only transfer one ticket at a time. After transferring each ticket, return to your Eventbrite account, select TICKETS and continue to transfer tickets one at a time. For detailed instructions on how to transfer tickets please visit:

-Tickets are valid for the specific date and entry time chosen. Ticket holders may not be admitted prior to their ticket’s entry time. Late entry is permitted up to 30 minutes past entry time (except for 9 PM tickets, where admission ends at 9:15 PM). Admission to the Winter Walk of Lights ends at 9:15pm, and the event closes at 10pm, at lights out.

Please Note:

- Outside food and beverage are not permitted.

- Only certified service dogs are permitted at the Winter Walk of Lights with the exception of specific Pup Nights. Pup Nights are November 12, 19, 25; December 2, 3, 10, 17; January 3, 5. Pups and their handlers require tickets.

- Vehicles, bicycles, and scooters are not permitted.

Hours of Operation & Ticket Prices:

Meadowlark's Winter Walk of Lights is open all holidays. Ticket quantities are limited, and tickets are sold for specific entry times every 30 minutes.

Children under age 2 are free and do not require a ticket.

• Hours: 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Admission ends at 9:15 PM, lights go dark at 10:00 PM)

• Online Ticket Price (ages 2 & older): $18 + Eventbrite fee

• Onsite Ticket Price (ages 2 & older): $23

Friday, December 6, 2024 – Tuesday, December 31, 2025

• Hours: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Admission ends at 9:15 PM, lights go dark at 10:00 PM)

• Online Ticket Price (ages 2 & older): $22 + Eventbrite fee

• Tickets are not sold on site. Online ticket sales only.

Wednesday, January 1 – Sunday, January 5, 2025

• Hours: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Admission ends at 9:15 PM, lights go dark at 10:00 PM)

• Online Ticket Price (ages 2 & older): $18 + Eventbrite fee

• Onsite Ticket Price (ages 2 & older): $23

Note: Onsite tickets will not be sold from December 6 to December 31, 2024. When online tickets are sold out for a time slot, additional tickets will not be available onsite.
