Each year, the UNC Health Nash Foundation gives community members the chance to honor or celebrate a loved one as a part of its Lights of Love campaign. Designate a light or an ornament on the Christmas tree in honor or in celebration of a loved one this holiday season. The trees are displayed throughout the holiday season, and the name(s) recited at the official tree lighting event.
Lights of Love not only serves as a way to honor or celebrate someone, but also as a way for the UNC Health Nash Foundation to raise money for the Annual Fund. Annual Funds can be used towards patient assistance in different areas of the hospital including the Danny Talbott Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Women’s Center, Inpatient Food Pantry, Community Paramedic Program and numerous other projects.
In 2023, the UNC Health Nash Foundation raised $15,110 for the Annual Fund to honor 286 loved ones! We were able to honor and remember loved ones near and far at our Tree Lighting Ceremony. Thank you to all who donated to help us build a healthier community!
