2024 LIFE League Thanksgiving Break Hoops Camp - Grades 6-8 (Girls)

Welcome to the LIFE League Welcome to the LIFE League 2024 Thanksgiving Break Hoops Camp, where basketball passion meets innovation! This unique program, themed "Dribble into the Digital: Basketball and AI," is designed for rising 3rd to 8th graders, blending the excitement of basketball training with engaging workshops on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Purpose of the Camp:

Our mission is to empower young athletes not only to enhance their basketball skills but also to equip them with essential knowledge about the future role of technology in sports and also in society. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, gaining insights into both athletic performance and the transformative power of AI in today’s sports landscape.

Throughout the camp, participants will engage in:

• Skill Development: Focused basketball training to improve shooting, passing, defense, and teamwork.
• AI Workshops: Interactive sessions that introduce the basics of AI and its applications in sports, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team Building Activities: Fun, collaborative exercises that foster friendships, sportsmanship, and a sense of community.
• Life Skills: Discussions on leadership, resilience, and decision-making to help young athletes grow both on and off the court.
