Adelaide Festival Centre | Adelaide, SA
We invite Australians to learn about shared histories, cultures, and achievements and explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia, Now More Than Ever, during National Reconciliation Week—27 May to 3 June.
The Kaurna Reconciliation Walking Trail is a collaboration between the Graham F Smith Peace Foundation and the Kaurna community, inviting reflection on Kaurna life before European settlement and exploring the impact of colonisation on Aboriginal people. This guided tour provides generous insights into traditional, cultural and personal significance.
Join Kaurna Elder Rod O'Brien, your guide, for a two-hour stroll around Karrawirra Parri (River Torrens), Elder Park, and its surroundings. Learn about Kaurna's history, culture, and achievements and explore how we can join the national reconciliation effort to bring about change.
Experience the POWER of walking together ... the POWER of truth-telling ... and the POWER of Reconciliation.
