The Iowa Trails Summit brings together trail blazers from across Iowa each fall to learn, connect and collaborate.
About this Event

The 2024 Iowa Trails Summit will be in Council Bluffs on Friday, October 4 and will feature a variety of speakers, break out sessions, and networking with other trail professionals and enthusiasts.

Participants can also participate in the pre-conference bike ride on Thursday, Oct. 3. There is also an option to purchase a ticket for the keynote presentation only.

This year's keynote speaker is Robert Searns. Searns has a four-decade history of visualizing, planning, and getting trails and greenway projects built. He was Project Director of Denver’s Platte River and Mary Carter Greenways—both national-award-wining projects. He helped plan the Grand Canyon NP Greenway, and played a key role in planning the Memphis Wolf River Greenway.
