2024 Holiday Light Tour! (Campus Martius, Detroit Zoo, Downtown Rochester)

All aboard Santa’s Sleigh for a festive treat for all! Dream Destinations is proud to offer the best holiday light tour experience around!

No guests under the age of 21 please. Valid ID is required!

Each tour will start out at Hamlin Pub where you can enjoy a meal or beverage (not included in ticket price) before boarding the shuttle to Campus Martius. Boarding will begin at 5:35pm and the shuttle will leave promptly at 5:45pm. The shuttle bus will be as warm as those chestnuts roasting on an open fire, but much of this event will take place outdoors so dress for the weather! Around 6:30pm you will arrive at Campus Martius for a nice outdoor walk enjoying the sights and sounds of Detroit. Don’t miss out on a photo with the giant Christmas tree and the outdoor skating rink! The shuttle bus will remain nearby and depart from Detroit at 7:30 sharp! The next stop on our holiday light tour will be to the Detroit Zoo where you will enjoy the “Wild Lights”. More than five million LED lights will illuminate trees, buildings and 280 sculptures (more than 230 of which are animals) throughout the front half of the Zoo. Experience the magic of the Detroit Zoo as you take in the lights and the sights and enjoy holiday entertainment. The loop will take you approx. 1.5 hours to complete and then you will return to the shuttle for our final departure at 9:30pm. Our final location will be downtown Rochester for a drive through tour of their beautiful shops and lights! You will remain on the bus as you enjoy music and take in the lights! We will then drive back to Hamlin Pub! Upon our arrival the tour is complete. You are welcome to head back to your own vehicles or go inside to keep the Christmas cheer flowing!

This event will be rain, shine, or snow! Unless there are hazardous road conditions that make our event impossible we will carry on!

Shuttle Bus will be provided by Dream Limousines. In the event of mechanical trouble a substitution of a similar type vehicle may occur.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes! This is a 21 and older event with valid ID required!

What are my parking options for the event?

You can park your car for free at Hamlin Pub! Hamlin has asked that you park further from the entrance to not overcrowd their lot while the event is taking place. Will will drop you off at your vehicle and you can park a little closer after if you wish to go inside!

What can I bring into the event?

We recommend you dress for the weather and festive outfits are great! You can also bring a small lap sized cooler for beverages of your choosing (no glass please).

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, although it is helpful! We will have a guest list and can match your ID to the name on the guest list.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Your ticket can be used by anyone as long as they have a printed ticket. Subsitiutions without a matching ticket or ID will not be allowed.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes! As long as they have a ticket!

What does my ticket include?

Tickets include transportation and entry ticket to the "Wild Lights" at the Detroit Zoo.

Can we drink Alcohol on the Shuttle Bus?

Yes, you are welcome to drink on the Shuttle Bus as long as you are of legal drinking age. We have a zero-tolerance policy for underage drinking! If you do choose to drink on the Shuttle or after the tour, we ask that you drink responsibly.

Can we smoke on the Shuttle?

None of our tours allow for smoking on the vehicles. Vaping is also not permitted. The vehicles that we rent for our events require this of us and we ask that you respect this policy as well as the comfort of other guests.

What if I miss the Shuttle Bus on departure or return?

The driver for each of our events is instructed to leave at the time stated. For the convenience of other guests on board we cannot wait past the departure time for guests arriving late. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes prior to departures.

Do guests need to tip the Shuttle Bus driver?

The driver may accept tips at guest’s discretion but is also being paid a small portion of each ticket price as well!
