2024 Family and Youth Engagement Summit

Welcome to the 4th Annual Family and Youth Engagement Summit!

Join over 300 juvenile justice professionals, youth advocates, community partners, policymakers, social workers, law enforcement officers and educators on Tuesday Aug 27, 2024 at the FFA Enrichment Center for a day filled with exceptional presenters and insightful sessions centered around the transformative impact of social capital and authentic engagement in advancing youth justice and promoting the wellbeing of young people.

This year's theme, "Healing Through Connection: the Power of Social Capital in Youth Justice Transformation" highlights the critical role of community and our collective responsibility to authentically engage youth and families. Our keynote presenters from the Academy for Transformational Change will remind us all that The Answer is in the Community. Session topics will include: how to leverage social capital, engaging youth with complex needs, family engagement in case planning, how to have transformational relationships with youth, engaging youth and families in policy change, celebrating Youth Justice Action Month (YJAM), applying Motivational Interviewing to support youth to achieve educational and career success, supporting immigrant and refugee youth, incentivizing probation and more!

There is no cost to attend and lunch is provided. If you aren't able to attend for any reason, PLEASE cancel your registration so we limit food waste. Stay tuned for more information about CEUs and CLEs.
