2024 El Paso Border Folk Festival Music & Dance Conference

Welcome to the El Paso Border Folk Festival (BFF) Music & Dance Conference! This event is the perfect opportunity for mariachi music and ballet folklorico enthusiasts to come together and share their passion.

During this conference, you'll have the chance to learn from some of the best mariachi musicians and folklorico dancers. We have a fantastic lineup of speakers and performers who will be sharing their expertise and passion with you. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced mariachi musician/folklorico dancer, there's something for everyone at this conference.

Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to attend workshops, performances, and presentations. You'll be able to connect with other mariachi music/ballet folklorico enthusiasts, share your own experiences and learn from others. Classes offered are as follows:

• Violin
• Trumpet
• Harp
• Guitarron
• Rhythm, Vihuela & Guitar
• Voice
• Ballet Folklorico

Rates for conference registration:

• Early Bird Music Conference: $85 (thru August 31, 2024)
• Music Conference: $95 (thru Sept.18, 2024)
• Ballet Folklorico Conference: TBD
• Late Music Conference: $115 (beginning Sept. 19, 2024)

El Paso Area School District Programs

School programs that need to pay by check, please use the El Paso School Programs ONLY - MUSIC REGISTRATION or El Paso School Programs - FOLKLORICO Registration ticket option. Payment can be made at Registration Check-In.

All other registrations please use the Individual/Group MUSIC Conference Registration or BALLET FOLKLORICO Conference Registration ticket option.

The conference will be held at Pebble Hills High School on Wednesday, Oct. 02 & Thursday, Oct. 03 and will move to the Plaza Theatre on Friday, Oct. 04.

The conference will culminate with a final concert at the Plaza Theatre on Fri. Oct. 04 at 7pm. Each paid registration to the conference includes a ticket to the final concert at the Plaza Theatre. Registration must be fully paid prior to the concert to receive your ticket.

For those not attending the conference and wish to enjoy the final concert, tickets will be available for purchase starting in August 2024 through Ticketmaster.com or via the Plaza Theatre ticket box office. You can avoid Ticketmaster fees by buying directly from the Plaza Theatre box office.
