Join us for craft and cake! Award-winning floristry tutor Karen Longbottom from Finishing Touches Florist is back to help you create a beautiful door ring to take home and hang indoors or out all the way up to Christmas. It's always a brilliant event with everything you need supplied. Wreaths will be pre-mossed, and you'll learn how to add the fresh foliage correctly, and as many ribbons, baubles and trimmings as you desire! (If you would like to include battery operated lights, please bring those with you).
£80 per person. Please choose the afternoon or the evening session
You'll also get the delicious Holdsworth House festive afternoon tea: three tiers of treats including freshly made sandwiches, home baked savoury and cakes, and warm homemade scones with Chantilly cream and preserves. Your tea will be served as a group on large, shared dining tables, with all the teas and coffees you want, from our friendly team.
This is also your chance to see Holdsworth House in its festive finery! Every year professional stylist Susi Stirrup visits the hotel to dress the halls, mantels and staircases in lights, greenery, baubles and Christmas trees.
Thursday 5th December 2024 Session Times:
1) Afternoon Session: Wreath making 12noon-2.00pm; Afternoon tea served 2.00-3.30pm
2) Evening Session: Afternoon tea served 4.30-6.00pm; Wreath making 6.00-8.00pm
Booking terms: Full prepayment is required. Afternoon tea is served as a group either before or after the wreath making workshop depending on the event session you select. Please advise us of any dietary requirements prior to arrival on 01422 240024 or by emailing [email protected]. No refunds except in the unlikely event that Holdsworth House cancels the workshop.
