2024 Carols by Candlelight at Cockington Church

Over the years our carol service has become a family favourite with people coming from far and wide, hence the the reason to ask you to reserve seats which are free. Of the the three services we have on Christmas Eve the 2.00pm service is specially for the younger members of the family (with accompanying adults). That said children are welcome to every service. Do remember that lighting in the park is not extensive so we do recommend you bring a torch to light your way. We very much look forward to welcoming you.

Last year we had several no shows which meant precious places were left unfilled. So please, please, please can we ask you to let us know, no matter how late, if you are unable to join us in order that we can make those seat available to others. Thank you.

W e have another Candlelit Carol Service at 4.30pm Saturday 14th which you can book online too. For added Christams cheer we'll be serving mulled wine before the service from 4.00 pm.

Cockington Church isn't getting any younger. Over 950 years and counting! Keeping this ancient building open does have its challenges and currently we are facing a major one in the shape of of the roof which needs major work to make it watertight (that's why you'll see the odd bucket around the place!).
