Empire Dojo is excited to hold our 2024 Black Belt Seminar at our dojo in Abingdon, MD.
During this seminar we'll cover advanced skills and share in buyu (martial friendship). Training includes a variety of subjects, geared towards experienced ninpo-ka.
TESTING:
Black Belt level testing & Ryu-ha testing is held on Sunday at 10am. If you would like to test, please have your direct instructor submit your information at least 1-month prior to the event.
ITINERARY:
Friday - June 7 (Black Belts Only)
5:00pm Doors Open
6:00pm-7:00pm Dan Level Practice
7:00pm-8:00pm Takagi Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu (Taught by George Harley Sensei)
Saturday - June 8 (Open to All Ranks)
9:30am Doors Open
10:00am-1:00pm Mugen Shinto Ryu Kirigami (Taught by Luis Martinez Sensei)
1:00pm-2:00pm Lunch
2:00pm-3:00pm Sword Randori (Taught by George Harley Sensei)
3:00pm-4:00pm Mugen Shinto Ryu Muto-Dori (Taught by George Harley Sensei)
4:00pm-6:00pm Dan Level Testing & Ryu-ha Testing Practice
8pm - Banquet
Sunday - June 9 (Open to All Ranks)
9:30am Doors Open
10:00am-11:00am Dan Level Testing & Ryu-ha Testing Practice

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All participants must complete a release form and registration prior to stepping on the mat. Minors must have release form filled out by a parent.
- Participants are required to wear a clean and complete uniform each day of the event, as well as, observe good hygiene. Have a fresh gi for each day.
- Absolutely no video is allowed during the event without direct approval from Luis Sensei.
- Participants agree to follow the rules of our dojo. You are responsible for any guests that you bring. We reserve the right to dismiss anyone not observing rules without refund.
- Any student testing for Mugen Shinto Ryu Iaijutsu Kirigami MUST have the following: Hakama, Bokken w/ Saya and or a Iaito.
- Testing fees for Dan & Ryu-ha are not included with the registration. You must pay your direct instructor for any additional testing fees.
