2024 BC Emerging Leaders (BCEL) Conference

BC Emerging Leaders' 9th Annual Leadership Conference takes place in person from October 17-18. (see further accommodation details below)

In 2023, we focused on "FUTURE-PROOFING YOUR CAREER: Thriving in a World of Change."

For 2024, we are excited to shift focus forward to explore "Moving from Resistance to RESILIENCE".

Registration Inclusions

Your conference ticket includes two full conference days, breakfast and lunch on both days, and an evening networking event (which is also open to CU executives!).

The event is being hosted at: BCIT (Downtown Campus), 555 Seymour St, Vancouver, BC V6B3H6

Schedule

The conference kicks off at 8:30am on Thursday, October 17, ending at 3:00pm Friday, October 18. More information coming soon on who our speakers will be!

Accommodation

Specially discounted rates (from $199 + tax) have been secured and are available for any conference attendees at: Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver Hotel, 1180 W Hastings St Vancouver BC V6E 4R5, which is only a 10 min walk from the BCIT Campus.

Deadline

To qualify for the negotiated rate, all reservations must be received by

the Hotel by the Guest Room Block Release/Cut-off Date of September 16.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings must be canceled by 4:00 PM local hotel time, 3 days prior to scheduled arrival date of the guest room reservation, without payment. Cancellations after this point will be billed to the party which has guaranteed the reservation.

Extending your stay

Negotiated Guest Room Rates are available to attendees three (3) days

pre / post actual Event dates (based on availability).

Please ensure travel or flights are booked with enough time to stay for the closing session on the 18th.
