The Arkansas Archeological Society is hosting its 2024 Annual Meeting September 27-29 in Jonesboro. Friday, the first day of the meeting, attendees can check in, and an evening reception and poster session are held in the evening. Saturday is a jam-packed day with paper presentations, an awards presentation, the Archeological Research Fund silent auction and raffle, a banquet, and a keynote address given by Dr. Ashley Dumas from the University of West Alabama. Sunday caps off the weekend with a choice between 2 free tours: Crowley's Ridge State Park or the Arkansas State University Museum. Early Registration ends on September 6th, but you can still register for the meeting up until it begins on September 27th without the option of attending the banquet. Please join Society members, career archeologists, and community members for the chance to hear about current archeological research happening in the state!
