Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Savannah's legendary St. Patrick's Day Parade! Since 1824, the Irish Catholic community in Savannah has celebrated the feast of St. Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland. Now the third-largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the world, this iconic Savannah tradition draws hundreds of thousands of spectators to the historic downtown streets. The parade starts at 10:15 AM at the intersection of Gwinnett and Abercorn Streets and winds through downtown Savannah's beautiful squares. The St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee focuses on Faith, family, and friends, making this a wonderful family-friendly celebration of Irish culture.
The festivities begin the day before with Mass at the Basilica Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. All are welcome to attend and experience Savannah's rich Irish heritage. Erin Go Bragh!
