Join us in Studland for this great introduction to foraging course, perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to experience a taster session in foraging. This is also an ideal activity for families to gain outdoor skills to enjoy time together outside. Suitable for age 4+, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
The content of this course adapts with the seasons, as different wild foods are available at various times of the year. Your instructor will guide you through the hedgerows and woodlands, foraging as you go. Once you arrive, your guide will show you wild plants and share their uses and benefits. This session also introduces bushcraft skills, enhancing your appreciation of wild foods.
In addition to exploring the Studland coastline, you'll gather wild plants from the hedgerows and even create your own wild tea bags to take home.
Spending time outdoors helps you disconnect from modern life and fosters reconnection with each other, something we all need. Our foraging sessions are designed to inspire a new healthy hobby that you can continue outside.
Whether you're with friends, younger children, pre-teens, or older kids, we’ll tailor activities to meet everyone's needs, providing a chance to bond with nature and each other. Children £25pp and adults £40pp.
