2- Day Skate Workshop with Clintonville Roller Club

Come join us for a fun and interactive skate workshop hosted by the Clintonville Roller Club! This event is perfect for anyone looking to improve their skills and have a great time. Our experienced instructors will be on hand to provide tips and tricks to help you glide smoothly on wheels. Don't miss out on this opportunity to meet fellow skaters and learn from the best. Lace up your skates and get ready for a day filled with laughter, learning, and of course, lots of skating!

Location is in Clintonville, we will send out exact location once you have registered with parking information as well. It is a roomy, private indoor space with concrete floors. Wheels with a nice grip are recommended as well as protective gear. Light snacks & beverages are provided. Please be on time, classes will start as scheduled.

On Saturday March 8, 11am-3pm, David "Smitty" Smith, aka @SmittyonSkates will be teaching a 90min beginner floowork class followed by Mike Brown, aka @therealmacniff teaching partner ballroom skating all on day one!

On Sunday March 9, 10am-1pm you will be learning DanceSkate choreo from certified instructor, Emma Heimberger, @emma.skates.ohio. Emma has trained with Morgan Weske, learning all the skills and techniques she will bring to this course. Tracie Taulbee, @tracies_trek will be breaking down Jam Skate for us, including the infamous crazy legs! Lauren Phaneuf, @laurenonskates will be breaking down the compass spin and variations of bunny hops. We will take all of these new moves and combine them into small space choreo.

If you are looking to level up your skating, this is your chance to learn from the best! This workshop is great for those of all skill levels provided you already know how to skate forward, backwards and can stop on your skates. Being able to control your body on skates is a must.
