2-Day Inspection Basics for Home Inspector Class

Dates: Thursday and Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Join us for two days of home inspection training at the InterNACHI® House of Horrors®. This class is ideal for anyone new to the home inspection profession or those who want to enhance their skills. You'll conduct home inspections with other inspectors, supervised by Certified Master Inspectors®, at the House of Horrors®, an entire house built with a thousand defects, and write inspection reports. Additionally, you’ll learn valuable business and marketing tips to help you start your own business.

Please note: This class is more than an introduction to home inspecting, but it isn't a replacement for the more in-depth five-day training course.

• Electrical service panels
• HVAC systems
• Garages
• Stucco and brick walls
• Roofs with different materials
• Foundations
• Residential decks

You’ll Learn to Identify:

• Common problems with water heaters and how to note these defects in your inspection report
• Different types of wiring and how to distinguish between aluminum and copper
• Incorrectly wired outlets
• And more

To become a certified professional inspector, you must complete the requirements listed here.

Mock inspections can be completed during this class.
