Interested in learning about ANSYS but have no experience? This course is for you!
About this Event

In this two-day in person course, you will learn how to undertake finite element analysis using Ansys software. This hands-on course will be taught through live demonstrations followed by an opportunity for you to run your own simulation with support from our tutors.

Designed for those with no prior experience of ANSYS, we start with simple tutorials and gradually add complexity to the training materials. By the end of the two days you will have an understanding of the entire workflow for finite element analysis and will have an opportunity to use various Ansys tools with supervision and have discussion about how these can be used in your specific context.

Seven topics in solid mechanics will be covered with a demo and slides followed by hands on practice:

  • Introduction to APDL
  • Introduction to Workbench
  • Contact analysis
  • Elasto-plastic analysis
  • Parametric design
  • PyAnsys
  • Introduction to Rocky

Ticket fee also includes free access to ANSYS Associate Certification for “Foundation in Stress Analysis”.
