This six-day workshop offers an in-depth journey through vector calculus and electromagnetism, blending mathematical rigor with geometric intuition. Beginning with foundational topics like vector algebra, differentiation, and coordinate systems, it gradually advances into partial differentiation and the geometry of space curves using the TNB frame. Curvilinear and spherical coordinates are introduced to describe space more naturally, leading to an understanding of work, circulation, and the curl of a field. On Day 2, the focus shifts to global field behavior, with the flux, divergence, and curl interpreted through the great integral theorems of vector calculus. Vector integration is explored in depth, culminating in the Dirac delta function, which models point sources in continuous fields. Day 3 centers on classical electromagnetism, beginning with Helmholtz’s theorem and continuing through electrostatics, magnetostatics, and field behavior in spherical symmetry.
