Continuing the Legacy, Reaching New Heights
After the remarkable success of our first summit, DRMC Math Club proudly presents the "2nd DRMC National Math Summit 2025". What started as a vision to gather young problem-solvers has now grown into a platform of excellence, where brilliance meets passion.
This year, we aim to take the legacy further, bringing together bright minds from across the nation to test their skills, challenge their limits, and celebrate the joy of learning. With olympiads, brain games, quizzes, gaming, project displays and much more intense events, the summit promises to be a memorable experience for all.
Here’s a glimpse of the events in store:

■ Olympiads
1) Math Olympiad
Where sharp minds meet elegant problems. Expect carefully curated questions that reward deep thinking, clean presentation, and creative leaps, true to national Olympiad spirit. Topics span algebra, number theory, geometry, and combinatorics; the set balances accessibility with challenge. Designed to thrill first-timers and veterans alike.
Categories: Primary (Class 3–5), Junior (Class 6–8), Senior (Class 9–12)
Rules & Regulations:
• No fee & registration required. Duration: 1 hour.
• 6–8 problems; difficulty balanced across the set.
• Partial credit for correct methods and logically sound steps.
• Solutions must be written clearly with reasoning; answers without work may not receive credit.
• Calculators/electronics not allowed; rough sheets and question paper provided.
• Any unfair means → immediate disqualification; invigilator’s and jury’s decisions are final.

2) Physics Olympiad

• Mix of theory and calculation; no fixed difficulty order.
• Partial credit for correct approaches, diagrams, and derivations.
• Non-programmable calculators allowed; phones/smartwatches prohibited.
• Units, significant figures, and neat presentation matter in scoring.

8) Chess
Classical strategy in tournament pressure. We present you with the opportunity to demonstrate your extraordinary critical thinking and foresight in a competition of the brilliant game of chess with fair-play enforcement and tight clocks,clean, competitive, and exciting.
Categories: Junior (up to Class 3–8), Senior (Class 9–University)
Rules & Regulations:
• Time controls & format announced with pairing.
• Boards & clocks available.
• Judges’ decisions are final.
• Late arrival beyond grace period counts as forfeit.
• Participant no. is limited. After a certain number of people have registered , registration will be closed.

The elegance of constraints in a race against time. Hand-picked classic and variant grids to reward both technique and composure.

• The use of calculators or any other electronic devices is strictly prohibited.
• There will be 3 Sudoku puzzles to solve.
• The top 3 fastest solvers with the most correct numbers will receive awards.

10) Speed Cubing
From inspection to the last layer,pure adrenaline. We follow WCA-style norms for fairness and consistency while keeping the vibe welcoming to newcomers.
Eligibility: Open for all
Events: 3x3 and Pyraminx
Rules & Regulations:
• No fee & registration required.
• Participants will have to bring their own cubes.
• 15 seconds will be given for inspection.
• There will be 2 or more rounds depending on the number of participants.
• If someone’s cube gets broken, he/she will be disqualified automatically.
• DNF and +2 penalty rules will be the same as WCA events.

The speed–precision arena for integrators. Solve under pressure in a thrilling two-stage format that rewards calm focus and quick, correct execution.
• Format:
1. Preliminary:
- Duration: 30 minutes.
- Written round. A set of problems will be given to solve.
- Top 4 highest mark getters qualify for the final.
2. Finals:
- 3 knockout rounds: Quarter final, Semi final & Grand Final.
- Participants compete 1v1 on stage.
- 1-2 problems per round, strict time; fastest correct advances.

• Difficulty increases each round; ties broken by submission time and working quality.
• Any external aid or collaboration → disqualification.

18) Treasure Hunt
Get ready for a thrilling, high-energy adventure that will test your wit, teamwork, and problem-solving skills! Navigate through puzzles, ciphers, and brain-teasing challenges under pressure as you race against time to uncover hidden treasures of the mighty pirates across the venue. Limited slots available—only the sharpest minds will make it through!
Format
Round 1 – Preliminary:
All registered teams will sit for a 1-hour written exam covering general knowledge, science, adventure, and technology. This round will determine which teams advance to the finals.
Round 2 – Final:
The selected teams will embark on an on-ground treasure hunt across the vast DRMC campus. Armed with cryptic clues and mysterious coordinates, teams must solve riddles, decode puzzles, and locate hidden treasures before time runs out.
Teams can contain 2 to 5 members.

21) Project Display
Showcase prototypes, models, and math-powered ideas,science fair energy with summit polish.
Rules & Regulations:
• 2 categories: Junior(6-8), Senior(9-12)
• Each team must consist of 2 to 4 members.
• Projects must be set up during the designated time slots before the event and dismantled only after the event concludes. Adherence to these times is crucial for a smooth operation.
• Any technical equipment or special setup requirements must be communicated to the event organizers in advance to ensure proper arrangements are made.
• Project creators should be present during the event to engage with attendees, answer questions, and provide information about their work.
• All participants and attendees must adhere to safety guidelines. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
• Participants are responsible for bringing the materials and equipment needed for their displays.
• Constructive feedback from attendees is encouraged. Project creators are expected to handle feedback professionally and use it to enhance their work.
• All participants must comply with these rules to ensure the event runs smoothly. Non-compliance may result in exclusion from the showcase and future events.
