Son Sabroso is a traditional Classico salsa group known for performing a catalog of fun, danceable classic salsa songs, drawing on influences from Latin, Cuban, and Puerto Rican genres, and featuring many well-known popular salsa artists.

The band features many local, well-known musicians, including Ric "Mightybone" Feliciano, lead vocalist and musical director, Rene Escovedo, founder and conga player, and others from the Bay Area. When you see and hear Son Sabroso perform, it’s always a fun, high-energy dancing show with great horns, rhythmic percussion, melodic bass, keys and vocal harmonies! Salsa Caliente!
