Come join us for another "First Sunday" historical miniatures game at the Ohio History Center in Columbus, off I-71 and 17th Ave.! The game will be located in the museum, and an excellent chance to display our hobby to the public. To reserve your spot in the game (and free admission for that day to the museum), please reach out to Mike Demana (HMGS GL) or Alex Hottman (deputy director of the museum).It is Sept. 10, 1813 on Lake Erie. Refight this pivotal naval action in the War of 1812 fought off the coast of Put-In Bay, OH. The U.S. Navy, commanded by Oliver Hazard Perry captured six vessels of the British Navy. The victory assured American control of Lake Erie for the reset of the war. Join GM Tim Peaslee for a visual recreation of an important historical event that happened here in Ohio.
