1st Saturdays • Gore Hall • 11:00 AM–1:30 PM
Optional text: “My First Quilt Book: Machine Sewing” by Winky Cherry
Required: Sewing Machine, Sewing Kit, thread and fabric
This introductory class is designed for students who have never sewn before, as well as beginners who want to strengthen their “long-line” stitching skills before moving on to making garments. This class emphasizes foundational sewing skills, accuracy, and comfort with straight and long-line stitching in a relaxed, supportive environment.
You can keep your projects or donate them to children’s hospital charities!
