1st National Media Carnival 2025! "Explore the media, Explore the World!" “Lights - Camera - Action!"
For the first time, Notre Dame Media & Communication Club, is proud to present the 1st National Media Carnival 2025, a carnival that brings together creativity, togetherness, actionable voices, and the future of the media.
It is not just a competition, but rather a carnival of ideas, imagination, creativity, and innovation through media - film, quizzes, anchoring, press challenges, memes, multimedia presentations, etc. Here, every corner of the media has an opportunity.
Categories:
- Junior (Class 6-8)
- Secondary (Class 9-10)
- Higher Secondary (Class 11-12)
During the competition, any decision made by the authority of the Notre Dame Media and Communication Club shall be considered final and binding for all participants.
Online Events:
Here is your opportunity to share your talent from anywhere in the country!
1) Short Film: Use your skill or ability to share a story. It can be drama, film, documentary or fiction, it can be a little creative and have a little message.
2) Poster Contest: One design, endless possibilities. Show how art can talk louder than words.
3) Meme Mania: Spread awareness with a little entertainment. Funny, witty, mental agility, you will be remembered.
4) Ad'Making: Create an advertisement that can attract attention and sell an idea in a few short seconds.
In-person Events:
I) Individual Events: Where the spotlight meets individuality!
1) Caption Contest: Say it in one succession.
2) Extempore Speech: A test of thinking on your feet and speaking spontaneously.
3) Report Contest: Be the reporter who turns a moment into history.
4)Finding Nemo: A creative media puzzle that challenges your wits and gut instincts.
5) Pressroom Challenge: Step into a noisy newsroom, think quickly and act quickly.
6) Anchor Arena: The thrill and excitement of live anchoring, and a chance to win over the audience.
II) Quiz Events: Fast thinkers, sharp minds, and lightning-fast answers.
1) MediaMind: A media knowledge quiz designed to spark your imagination.
2) Mega Quiz: A mega media and communication-based quiz battle.
3) Google It: Race to research! No one knows the questions better than you.
4) Newsline Quiz: Stay in the loop, stay smart – a quiz on current events and news media.
Events for Submission: In which creativity speaks for itself.
• Wall Magazine: Work with other people to build not just a magazine, but a stunning magazine with a clear message.
• Scrap Journal: Bring stories to life with a scrapbook of ideas that can be shared and creative.
• Photo Contest(Online): Capture compelling imagery through photos and spill your own narrative through the photographic content you made.
Group Events: Because you know the saying, teamwork makes the dream work!
